VFW Post 3615 Fish Fry Fundraiser @ Champs!

Our local VFW Post 3615 is in terrible shape so we're raising money to get them a new building! 

Come by Champs in downtown Ruston on August 31st from 11am till close! They'll be serving up their awesome fried catfish and fries for a really great cause! (Pssst.... I heard there's gonna be a secret stash of Girl Scout cookies available, too! Supplies are limited so grab them up while you can!)

Choose to hang out and enjoy All You Can Eat for $20 or grab a To-Go Plate for $11.99. For each To-Go Plate, our friends at Champs will donate $2 and for each All You Can Eat they'll donate $8! All proceeds from the Girl Scout cookies are going to the VFW, too! 

If one thing is true about the Ruston community, it's that we are striving for Excellence! What better way to be excellent than to help those that have done so much for us? 

This VFW Post is not just the current meeting place for their own members, but also for the VFW Auxiliary, the American Legion, AND the Blue Star Mothers. It was built in the early 40s when steel was going to the war effort so there's no re-bar in the foundation at all! The foundation is shifting, the wiring is shot, the roof is damaged, and there's no insulation. Since the building is in such bad shape, they can't rent it out for events so that cuts out one of their main income streams. Please help us help our Veterans and those that provide much needed support to them.
