Join us for our 4th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, June 1st at Squire Creek Country Club. This tournament will be a four-man scramble and serves as the fundraiser for the Ruston-Lincoln Chambers Workforce Development Grant Program. The golf tournament will kick off with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Lunch will be on course and awards presentation will be awarded following lunch.

Jun 9    Lincoln Parish Police Jury Meeting

The Lincoln Parish Police Jury is a 12-member body of elected officials that is the governing authority for Lincoln Parish. Lincoln Parish is divided into twelve geographic regions called districts. A Police Juror is elected from within the district to serve a four-year term representing the people of that district.

 

The Police Jury provides many services including road and bridge construction and maintenance, drainage, sewerage and solid waste disposal. The Police Jury also operates the Lincoln Parish Park, one of the most beautiful parks in Louisiana boasting nationally renowned mountain bike trails.

 

The Police Jury is responsible for housing and maintaining the Courts and the offices of the Assessor, Coroner, Clerk of Court, Registrar of Voters, District Attorney and the Sheriff. They promote economic development and tourism in their parishes, regulate various business activities and administer numerous state and federal programs on the parish level.

 

Police Jury meetings generally occur at 7:00 PM on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Lead & Launch: The Innovation Institute
Hosted by Louisiana Tech Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in collaboration with Delta Community College and the Lincoln Parish Chamber of Commerce

Ready to turn ideas into something real? Lead & Launch is a free, hands-on summer experience designed for rising high school juniors and seniors who want to think creatively, solve problems, and explore business ideas.

Held on the campus of Louisiana Tech University, this week-long, in-person camp gives students the opportunity to work in teams, develop a business concept, learn from local entrepreneurs and community leaders, participate in field trips, and pitch their ideas on the final day.

Students will gain valuable skills in communication, problem-solving, and leadership—tools that are useful in any career path.

Who: Rising high school juniors & seniors (2026–2027 school year)

Nov 10    Lincoln Parish Police Jury Meeting

The Lincoln Parish Police Jury is a 12-member body of elected officials that is the governing authority for Lincoln Parish. Lincoln Parish is divided into twelve geographic regions called districts. A Police Juror is elected from within the district to serve a four-year term representing the people of that district.

 

The Police Jury provides many services including road and bridge construction and maintenance, drainage, sewerage and solid waste disposal. The Police Jury also operates the Lincoln Parish Park, one of the most beautiful parks in Louisiana boasting nationally renowned mountain bike trails.

 

The Police Jury is responsible for housing and maintaining the Courts and the offices of the Assessor, Coroner, Clerk of Court, Registrar of Voters, District Attorney and the Sheriff. They promote economic development and tourism in their parishes, regulate various business activities and administer numerous state and federal programs on the parish level.

 

Police Jury meetings generally occur at 7:00 PM on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
