The 2012 theme is "Celebrate Tradition\," and the tour combines local musicians\, literary and visual artists\, with downtown businesses and area art studios and presents everything together for the public\, with entertainment for all ages. NCLAC's headquarters at the Dixie Center\, located at 212 North Trenton Street\, will serve as the information center for the tour.\n\n \n\n The extended weekend kicks off in a partnership with the Main Street Christmas Open House on Thursday\, November 15\, from 5 - 8 pm. Downtown merchants will stay open late for guests to shop and mingle\, experiencing what our stores have to offer\, as well as getting the first peek at our artists' works. Friday's in-store hours will be 2 - 5 pm\, with musical performances beginning at 5 at local bike shop Turbo Goat\, located at 301 N Trenton St. One of the acts for Friday evening will be the Swinging Richards\, and the line-up will continue until around midnight. Saturday will include area studios as well as downtown merchants\, from 11 am - 5 pm. After 5\, music will begin at Sundown Tavern\, including a new band for this year\, The Reactors. "Sprout Sunday" will round out this year's Holiday Arts Tour with another round of artist studio tours from 11 am - 5 pm and then free activities for children at select sites.\n\n \n\n Brochures with participating artists and locations\, as well as times for musical performances and Sprout Sunday activities\, will be available at the Dixie Center for the Arts\, open Monday through Thursday from 9 - 2 pm.
