DESCRIPTION:The 2015 16th Annual Krewe of Allegro Mardi Gras Ball\, in conjunction with NCLAC's Annual Silent Auction\, will be held February 7th\, from 7-midnight at the Ruston Civic Center.\n\n\n\nThe arts-nonprofits housed in the Dixie Center in Ruston: Dixie Center for the Arts\, NCLAC\, Ruston Civic Symphony Society\, Ruston Community Theatre\, and Troupe Dixie\, are mixing it up this year by working together to throw the best Ball in town\, and to raise funds for the Sustaining Building Fund for the Dixie Center for the Arts\, which will help maintain the historic theatre and its supporting buildings. \n\n\n\nAll proceeds received from the Silent Auction support the North Central Louisiana Arts Council's ongoing programs\, such as Summer Art Camps for children\, the Peach Art Exhibit that offers local artists of all ages over $1500 in awards each year\, and Holiday Arts Tour\, a premier economy-boosting event for local artists\, craftsmen\, and small business owners.\n\n\n\n Tickets are available for purchase at the Dixie Center for the Arts. Each ticket comes with 2 free drink tokens for wine or beer. Additional opportunities for fun are available\, such as a cash bar\, party pics\, and raffles.
