DESCRIPTION:The 2011 Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce Gala hosted by Community Trust Bank will be held Tuesday\, February 1 at the Ruston Civic Center. The guest speaker for the event will be Scott Angelle\, Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources. During the event\, community awards are presented by various groups. The Ruston Jaycees present their "Young Persons" awards which include the Young Firefighter of the Year\, Young Law Enforcement Officer of the Year\, Young Educator of the Year\, and Outstanding Young Person. Lincoln Parish School District awards their "Distinguished Partner in Education" each year. The Ruston-Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau will present their annual "Hospitality" awards. The Ruston Rotary Club will present the "Bill Best Humanitarian Award". The annual "Robert E. Russ" award is presented by the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.\n\n\n\nDoors will open at 6 p.m.\, the program begins at 6:30. Dinner will be served at approximately 6:45 p.m.
