DESCRIPTION:The 2012 Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce Awards Gala hosted by Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Louisiana will be held Thursday\, January 19th at the Ruston Civic Center.  During the event\, community awards are presented by various groups.  The Ruston Jaycees present their "Young Persons" awards which include the Young Firefighter of the Year\, Young Law Enforcement Officer of the Year\, Young Educator of the Year\, and Outstanding Young Person of the Year.  The Lincoln Parish School District awards their "Distinguished Partner in Education" each year.  The Ruston-Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau will present their annual "Hospitality" awards.  The Ruston Rotary Club will present the "Bill Best Humanitarian Award".  The annual "Robert E. Russ" award is presented by the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.\n\n \n\nDoors will open at 6 p.m.\, the program begins at 6:30. Dinner will be served at approximately 6:45 p.m.
