DESCRIPTION:Junior Auxiliary of Ruston is excited to present to you the 3rd Annual Mardi Gras Parade & Festival here in Ruston! Save the date for Saturday\, February 22\, 2020 from 11AM-10PM. We will have so many great things happening that day! Below are some of the activities we will have going on to make this the best Mardi Gras Parade and Festival yet:\n\n\n\n-5K/Fun Run\n\n-Craft Vendors\n\n-Jambalaya Cook Off\n\n-Storefront Window Decoration Contest\n\n-Photo Contest\n\n-T-Shirt Design Contest\n\n-Kid Zone\n\n-Selfie Booth\n\n-Various Live Entertainment 11am-6pm\n\n-Food Trucks\n\n-Parade at 6pm and winner announcement to follow\n\n-The Caravan Band from 7pm-10pm\n\n-Alcohol Sales after 7pm\n\n\n\n-Parade sponsored by 2High Trampoline Park and begins at 6pm. The parade starts at the Old Police Jury Annex on Alabama Avenue and will proceed east down Alabama\, turn south on Trenton Street\, then west on Dan Reneau Drive before turning right on Homer Street and returning to the Police Jury Annex.\n\n\n\nOh and did we mention the theme is Roaring 20's for 2020 year! All we can say is Junior Auxiliary of Ruston is ready for you to "Laissez les bons temps rouler!" Stay updated on event information by following us on Facebook.\n\n\n\nJunior Auxiliary of Ruston is a 501(c)(3) non-profit service organization consisting of women who desire to make a lasting difference in the lives of those in their community\, especially children. Our motto is "Care Today\, Character Tomorrow." The Mardi Gras Parade & Festival serves as a fundraiser to support our many projects that directly impact the lives of children & families in our community. Thank you for your support!
