DESCRIPTION:To express appreciation for our local veterans\, the City of Ruston will be hosting the 4th Annual Ruston's Veteran's Day "Honoring Our Heroes" Celebration. \n\n\n\nThe program will kick-off with a parade at 10 a.m. The parade route will begin in the parking lot of the old Police Jury location\, turn east on Alabama St. to N. Trenton St.\, then turn south on N. Trenton St. to Park Ave.\, where the parade will end at Railroad Park. \n\n\n\nThe ceremony will be held at Railroad Park in Downtown Ruston\, beginning with a flyover at 11:00 a.m. Ceremonial activities will immediately follow\, including the presenting of colors\, laying of the wreath\, POW MIA Presentation\, and guest speaker\, Ms. Nell Chennault Calloway.
