DESCRIPTION:Brush Up Wine Down is celebrating Valentine's with a Paint & Sip for 2\n\n'The Fox Kiss'\n\nSaturday\, February 13\, 2021\n\n6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. \n\n'The Fox Kiss' is inspired from one of the most famous love paintings of all time 'The Kiss' (in German 'Der Kuss') painted by master artist Gustav Klimt in 1907-1908\, during the height of his Golden Period. Originally exhibited in 1908 with the title Liebespaar (the lovers)\, the painting depicts a couple embracing each other\, their bodies entwined in elaborate beautiful robes decorated in a contemporary Art Nouveau style\, and caused somewhat of an uproar as it was "pornographic" and evidence of "perverted excess" according to contemporary critics.\n\n \n\n'The Kiss' considered a masterpiece of Vienna Secession\, now hangs in the  sterreichische Galerie Belvedere museum in Vienna and is Klimt's most popular work.\n \n\n"It takes 2 halves to make a whole"\n\n\n\nPut two 8"x10" canvases together for a 16"x10" painting:\n\n \n\nEach person gets an 8"x10" canvas with the image pre-outlined to paint\, guided step-by-step with both regular and metallic acrylic paint\, along with a little paint splatter fun in the making of.\n\n\n\nThis is the perfect event for that bottle of champagne you've been waiting for!\n\n \n\nThis event is a B.Y.O (bring your own) beverage and snacks/ hors d'oeuvres.
