This teen class\, for those ages 13-18\, will explore the design and creation of a comic book\, discussing both story and execution. The workshop will be taught by Joshua Chambers\, an area artist as well as a Gifted and Talented art teacher for the Ouachita Parish school system. The 2-day class fee is $60 for NCLAC members\, $70 for non-members. The workshop will be held at the Dixie Center for the Arts\, 212 North Vienna\, on both Tuesday and Wednesday. A daily snack and all supplies are provided with the class fee. Pre-registration is required and class space is limited.
