"We know amazing artists and many have asked us to help them promote their work. And\, when we saw this space\, we knew it was the right time and the right place\," says Judi Null\, the Gallery co-owner and Director." \n\n \n\nThe mission of Ruston Artisans is to bring art and people together for enjoyment\, discovery\, learning\, and opportunity. We are committed to creating a place where local art and artists are promoted and supported through exhibitions and programs that strengthen and sustain our community. Their vision is to make Ruston an art destination where people are inspired and gathered together to create community through art.\n\n \n\nGuests are invited to return that evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for Ruston Artisans' first exhibition. This opening exhibit\, "Wildlife and My Life\," will feature the work of wildlife photographer Dr. Box Leangsuksun. Dr. Box\, currently a professor with Louisiana Tech University\, will present unbelievable imagery and stories through his photos of trips to Kenya\, Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons\, Alaska\, as well as here in the south. Also featured will be the jewelry of young entrepreneur and artisan\, Autumn Moon. \n\n \n\nVisitors to the gallery will experience a new\, visually stimulating and thoughtful exhibit every month\, as well as be introduced to a new artisan. In addition\, there will be fun\, yet educational workshops and community oriented and informative social events every week.
