DESCRIPTION:The Grambling State University's Visual and Performing Arts Department will be presenting our annual fall 2023 production\, "Misery" by William Goldman. Skeleton Crew is a play written by Doninique Morisseau that is part of the cycle of plays called "The Detroit Projects." The play explores the effects of the Great Recession on the people of Detroit and tackles the treat of the unemployment in a car-manufacturing plant during the 2008 auto industry collapse. Morisseau examines different aspects of loss on a manufacturing line cut down to the minimum number of people needed to keep production going.
