DESCRIPTION:This introduction to kayaking is a two-day course that includes one evening of classroom instruction\, on Thursday April 30 from 6-9 pm\, that will cover basic safety\, equipment\, maneuvering\, and paddling destinations/opportunities. Day two will be the next Saturday\, May 2\, from 10 am to 2 pm and will be on-the-water paddling to a destination to be discussed/selected. Students may bring their own kayaks or rent one through a local outfitter. Details and supples needed will be provided at Day 1 class.
