With an energetic mixture of material based on his rich Creole heritage and his life as a father of 3 independent daughters\, Jerrod weaves a cast of characters\, trying adventures\, and tales of small-town life with intensity\, animation\, and a myriad of truth. Jerrod will also be hosting a FREE workshop for kids and youth from 4:00 pm-5:30 pm as part of the Dixie Discoveries and Troupe Dixie initiative. Participants will learn about stand-up comedy\, they will develop a 1-3 minute joke\, and what it takes to deliver jokes and get guaranteed laughs! At the 7 pm performance\, participants will have the choice to get on stage and open the show for Jerrod!
