SUMMARY:Junior Auxiliary Presents Race For The Kids (color run) 5K and 1 mile Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:Junior Auxiliary of Ruston is holding its first "Race For The Kids" Run November 8\, 2014! We are hosting a 5K run and 1 mile walk/run at Lincoln Parish Park. Following the run we will serve snacks\, hold an awards ceremony\, and showcase what JA of Ruston is doing in the community. \n\n\n\nThe "Race For The Kids" Run will be a new Finance Project for the 2014 fiscal year. It will be replacing the Jambalaya Dinner in hopes that it will be a fun and interactive project in the community while raising money that will help the children in Lincoln Parish.\n\n\n\nWe are asking you to sponsor the event and/or participate in the 5K/1M if possible. If you would like to run in the event you can pre-register for $30.00 at www.fitrightracing.com/ruston-ja-race-for-the-kids/ until November 1\, 2014. After November 1st\, you can still register online for $35.00 until day before race. Registration will also be held on race day. The 1 mile fun run/walk participation costs are $15.00 early registration and $20.00 for late. T-Shirts will be given to all participants. We appreciate your support in helping to make this event a success.\n\n\n\nDonations come in all shapes and sizes and no one thing is more important than another. Every little bit helps and allows us to support more children in the parish. Donations can be made through a JA member\, by mail with a race form\, or on the Fit Right Active website through registration.
