SUMMARY:Keep the Arts Afloat $5000 raffle
DESCRIPTION:Area residents have an opportunity to Keep the Arts Afloat for the coming year\, plus the chance to win $5\,000 and more! The North Central Louisiana Arts Council (NCLAC) is pleased to announce this annual campaign that provides funding for the council as it offers support for visual\, performing and literary arts in the region. Only 250 donations will be accepted at $100 each to go into the "pot" for the chance to win a $5\,000 thank you. If all 250 donations have been received\, the winning donor's name will be drawn at the Peach Art Exhibit reception on Thursday\, June 25\, at 6pm.\n\nThis year's campaign has bonus awards for early donors! Donors who Keep the Arts Afloat by April 1 have a chance to win a one week stay in Florida in a 4-bedroom\, gulf-view home. Donors who help by May 1 have a chance to win a Tour of Treats: $155 in vouchers for sweet treats at Ruston eateries. Donors who donate by June 1 have the chance to win an antique pocketwatch bracelet made by jewelry-maker Michele McGehee.\n\n"We are deeply grateful for our community's past support with NCLAC's largest fundraiser\," Jessica Slaughter\, Executive Director said. "Without this support we would not be able to continue our current level of programming."\n\nSome featured programs include:\n\n*Summer Arts Camps for Children *Peach Festival Art Exhibit *Holiday Arts Tour\n\nThe $100 KTAA donations can be made with any NCLAC board member or at the NCLAC office inside the Dixie Center for the Arts in downtown Ruston. Donations can also be made online here at nclarts.org\n\n \n\nAs always\, donors need not be present at the drawing to win.
