DESCRIPTION:Join us in Downtown Ruston for our 4th Annual Kickoff to Christmas event on Saturday\, November 30 from 6:30-8:00 p.m.!\n\n\n\nWe'll gather in Railroad Park for the traditional tree-lighting ceremony\, complete with a giant light switch\, as well as kid's activities\, photos with Santa at The Selfie Stop\, and a festive Christmas concert by Lisa Spann & Company. Don't forget to bring your letters to Santa to drop off in Santa's mailbox in Railroad Park! \n\n\n\nThis event is free and open to the public. \n\n\n\nNovember 30 is also the opening day of Ruston's Artificial Skating Rink\, located at the Historic Fire Station parking lot in downtown. The skating rink is a family favorite and can be enjoyed throughout the month of December every Thursday - Sunday. Admission is $10 per person for an hour of skating\, and the rink is open during the following hours: Thursdays 4:00-9:00pm\, Fridays 4:00-9:00 p.m.\, Saturdays 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.\, and Sundays 4:00-9:00 p.m.
