DESCRIPTION:PUBLIC NOTICE for PUBLIC HEARING\n\n\n\nThe Lincoln Parish Police Jury will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on February 9\, 2021 at the Lincoln Parish Library Events Center\, 910 North Trenton Street\, Ruston\, LA 71270. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and obtain views concerning the submission of an application for funding under the State of Louisiana Community Development Block Grant - Coronavirus (LCDBG-CV) HVAC Improvements Program. The following items will be discussed at the hearing:\n\n\n\nA. The amount of funds available for proposed community development activities\;\n\nB. The range of activities available that may be undertaken\, including the estimated amount of funds proposed to be used for activities that will benefit persons of low and moderate income\;\n\nC. The plans of the Police Jury for minimizing displaced persons as a result of activities assisted with such funds and the benefits to be provided by the Police Jury to persons actually displaced as a result of such activities\; and\,\n\nD. The Police Jury's past performance on LCDBG projects funded by the State of Louisiana.\n\n\n\nAll residents\, particularly low- and moderate-income persons and residents of slum and blighted areas of the Parish are encouraged to attend this meeting. Accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities and non-English speaking individuals provided that at least three (3) day notice is received by the Police Jury. The Police Jury also operates the Lincoln Parish Park\, one of the most beautiful parks in Louisiana boasting nationally renowned mountain bike trails.\n\n \n\nThe Police Jury is responsible for housing and maintaining the Courts and the offices of the Assessor\, Coroner\, Clerk of Court\, Registrar of Voters\, District Attorney and the Sheriff.
