Ruston Parks and Recreation Department is again proud to host the MLB Pitch\, Hit and Run competition on Saturday\, May 2 at 9:30 a.m. RPAR joins over 4\,000 competitions planned to take place across North America this year. Pitch\, Hit & Run is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball and invites youth to demonstrate their skills\, competing in pitching\, hitting and running abilities. While the competition is co-ed\, boys and girls will compete separately in four different age groups: 7-8\, 9-10\, 11-12\, and 13-14. Age is determined as of July 17\, 2015. The individual pitching\, hitting and running champions\, along with the all-around champion in each age and gender group at this Local competition will be awarded and advance to the Sectional level of competition.
