The class will be offered Saturday\, October 15 and Saturday\, October 22\, from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. With two classes offered\, you can join us for one or both! The fee for the one-day class is $35 for NCLAC members\, $40 for non-members. The class fee will cover all supplies needed for the class\, including gourds and paint. The class will be taught by Geri Taylor. Taylor holds a degree in Arts Education from Louisiana Tech University and is active in the Ruston Community Theatre both on and off stage. Taylor says "Gourds are already very sculptural by their own design and I enjoy the weight and texture of gourds and the way they take to paint and dyes." Pre-registration is required for the class.
