SUMMARY:Ruston Artisan's Music in Color - Josh Walker and the Tannehill Band
DESCRIPTION:This Music in Color Concert featuring Joshua Walker with Eric Little is the perfect opportunity to take a break from that Christmas shopping to treat yourself. Members of Josh Walker and the Tannehill band\, they promise an unforgettable evening of inspiring music including a little rhythm and blues\, southern rock and soul country. And\, they promise to throw in a few songs to put you in that Christmas spirit. \n\n\n\nMusic has always been an important part of Josh Walker's life. In 2014 a prolonged illness took music away from him for awhile. Josh says God gave it back to him with the understanding that he needed to quickly get to work spreading hope and joy through music. In Josh's words\, "I need to see\, meet\, hug\, and touch as many people as possible every day of my life\, for the rest of my life." So\, Josh found a few like-minded musicians who are friends\, family\, or friends he considers family\, like Eric Little\, and formed The Tannehill Band in the spring of 2015. In July of 2016\, Josh was invited to Nashville to record his debut EP I Go There to Get Back featuring all original songs. The EP was released locally in December 2016. At the 2017 SHINE event in Dallas hosted by Actors\, Models & Talent for Christ\, "Approaching Violet\," which is song two on the EP\, turned the heads of Nashville-based Provident Label Group (SonyBMG) and the Gospel Music Association. Josh opened for Grant Terry last month at Ruston Artisans.\n\n\n\nThe concert starts at 7:00 pm. Advance tickets are $20 or General Admission tickets at the door are $25. To make the evening evening more special\, treat yourself to our VIP lounge where you can be admitted at 6:30 pm to visit with Josh and Eric and indulge in special fare.
