DESCRIPTION:Ruston Artisans cordially invites you to attend our Opening/Artists Reception Thursday\, September 13\, 2018 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. This event is free and open to the public. The Portraits Exhibition will be held from September 6 - September 28\, 2018\, and is unlike any other we have held. It will feature eighteen artists\, seven of whom can be commissioned to paint or photograph you\, a family member\, your entire family\, or even perhaps that furry family member. The artists are: *Jerry Berg\, Leigh Buffington\, *Cara Beth Buie\, *Whitney Causey\, Julie Crews\, *Nicole Duet\, Anna Farris\, Kit Gilbert\, Frank Hamrick\, *Danny Helms\, Peter Jones\, Hooshang Khorasani\, Box Leangsuksun\, *Todd Maggio\, Charlie Meeds\, Amanda Roe\, *Rickey Sikes\, and Lacey Stinson (denotes availability for commissioned work). "In addition to a fabulous exhibition\, we have a couple of surprises in store\," said Judith Null\, Ruston Artisans owner. "A special portrait painting will be revealed at the Portraits reception. Artist Danny Helms has donated a painting of our very own Mayor\, Ronny Walker. The painting will be auctioned on October 12\, 2018 at the Beating Hearts: Stories of Domestic Violence reception and the proceeds will benefit D.A.R.T. We are also offering a discount on all artwork purchased during the Artist Reception on September 13th."
