Pirkle is an English MFA candidate at Louisiana Tech University\, and a graduate of LA Tech's Studio Art program.\n\nThe Book Review is a reading and writing workshop where participants each read a different recently published teen fiction book\, then discuss and write a review that will be published in the Ruston Daily Leader. Reading concepts including evaluation\, interpretation\, genre and style will be addressed\, as will writing skills such as pre-writing\, rhetorical devices\, and audience consideration.\n\nThe class is open to high school students.\n\nAll materials are included.
