The Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Ruston Daily Leader, Ruston Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Peach 99.3 and Z107.5 are excited to present the 3^nd annual #ShopRuston campaign 12 Days of Christmas Shopping, sponsored by Origin Bank. This will benefit our community, encourage participants to meet more of the small business owners, be a fun 12 day adventure, and someone will win $1,000, thanks to Origin Bank! Stocking Stuffer gifts will also be given and random shoppers will win gift cards or certificates from various sponsors during “Surprise Santa” visits at participating retailers.

This campaign will kick-off with an open house event on Friday, December 2, at the CVB and Chamber office from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Players can pick up their passports at this Kick-Off party, admire the festive “Peppermint & Pines” decorations by the Ruston Garden Club and enjoy lunch and hot chocolate.  (Passports will also be available at all participating stores.)

12 Days of Christmas Shopping begins Monday, December 5, and runs through Saturday, December 17. Each player will visit the participating Shops and have their Passport validated.  All who complete the Passport as instructed will be entered to win $1,000 on Monday, December 19. No purchase is necessary to receive a Passport or for retailer verifications, however, you are encouraged to do your Christmas shopping with our neighborhood retailers. A list of the shop’s address will be located on RustonChamber.org.

The grand prize winner will be drawn and announced at a live Peach 99.3 radio remote at Origin Bank across from Super 1 on Monday, December 19, 2016 (time to be announced, you do not have to be present to win). Passports must be turned in by Noon on Saturday, December 17 at the Ruston Lincoln Convention & Visitors Bureau, 2111 North Trenton Street, or one of the following Origin Bank locations in Ruston: 301 West Alabama, 1011 Cooktown Road, 1511 North Trenton Street, or 2010 Farmerville Highway.
