A Taste of Ruston

Welcome Freshmen at Grambling State and Louisiana Tech!


A Taste of Ruston is typically held during Welcome Week, on the university campuses. These events give Chamber member restaurants and other businesses an opportunity to introduce their products or services (for free) to freshman students. 
 
Because of COVID restrictions, these events will not be held in person this year but we still want to offer the opportunity for the students to get to know you. Since we can't all meet and mingle in person, we are creating an onIine scavenger hunt type of game which will bring students to your establishment. Your obligation will be to provide a $25 value gift for them to sign up for and to provide the Chamber with a $10 gift card to be included in the grand prize. 

Students will check in at your establishment by scanning a QR code which we will provide to you. Chamber staff will give you a report of your check-ins for you to draw a name for your $25 gift.

This game will begin September 28 and go through October 3.
