Freedom13 is a ministry founded by Lindsey Crawford that has become an oasis for victims of sex trafficking. Our mission is to rebuild dignity in the lives of those we serve. Human trafficking has been an ongoing issue in our nation, country, and community. It is heartbreaking to hear some of the statistics associated with trafficking. Here are a few stats: · The average age a teen enters the sex trade in the US is 13 to 14 years old. · Approximately 130 people are trafficked worldwide every hour. · More than 1300 families affected by addiction lead to potential trafficking cases. These statistics have led us to begin an initiative called Campaign13. Our ultimate goal is to raise funds for Purchased: Not for Sale, F13's sex trafficking ministry but we would also like to expand our Doing Life Together mentorship program to reach those that may be at-risk. We’re reaching out to see about having our organization featured or possibly discussing ways to raise awareness of our organization/Campaign13. This campaign will run from now until August 13th. During this time, we will discuss different topics related to our organization while also highlighting the needs for Purchased: Not for Sale, our sex trafficking outreach.
