Louisiana Peach Festival Children’s Activities
(These activities are included with festival entrance. Children 6 and under are admitted free.)Friday, 8 a.m.
Kids' Fishing Tournament at Lincoln Parish Park sponsored by The IDEA Place, La Capitol Federal Credit Union, Fairfield Inn & Suites Ruston, and Walmart Ruston. Youngsters go for the big catch. Prizes, refreshments. Open to age 12 and under. Participants must be accompanied by parent or other adult. Bring your own fishing pole; bait provided. No entry fee or pre-registration. Just show up!
Friday, 5-10 p.m.
Skateboard & BMX Show. Professional skateboarders and BMX riders will be doing demo's throughout day. Visitors may bring their helmets to participate in demos. There will also be a mini ramp for the little daredevils.
Saturday, 9 a.m.
"A Peach of My Heart" Festival Parade sponsored by PetStar Animal Care and produced by Rotary Club of Ruston
Saturday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
Skateboard & BMX Show. Professional skateboarders and BMX riders will be doing demo's throughout day. Visitors may bring their helmets to participate in demos. There will also be a mini ramp for the little daredevils.
Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
There will be plenty to keep the little ones happy in the Kids Zone filled with lots of activities with The IDEA Place, North Central LA Arts Council (NCLAC), LSU Ag Center/4-H, Lincoln Parish Library, Junior Auxiliary (puppet show) and UPHY (Up High) Step Team. There will also be a juggler, the Thornburg Monuments hula hooper and the RE/MAX Results Realty stilt walker.

After the “A Peach of My Heart” Parade Saturday morning, Dinosaurs will be in Downtown Ruston! Bring your kids to pet and interact with them.

Meet Louisiana Tech Football Players & Champ for signatures and photos
