Classical Guitar Trios and Solos
Enjoy the beauty of classical guitar this Christmas season with Cain Budds and his Louisiana Tech Guitar Trio at the Lincoln Parish Library Events Center at 6 PM on Tuesday, December 6. Budds and his students Ryan Rae and Tyler Cating will be performing solos and trios of Renaissance, Baroque, and Christmas music to celebrate the season with our Lincoln Parish community. This event is free and open to the public. Dr. Cain Budds is the head of the String Area at the Louisiana Tech music program. He received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in classical guitar performance from Arizona State University and his Bachelor and Masters degrees from Illinois State University. Along with heading a vibrant guitar studio at Louisiana Tech, Dr. Budds has also had an active performing and master class schedule internationally. He is joined by two of his students, Ryan Rae and Tyler Cating, who are both recipients of the John Simoneaux Memorial Scholarship.
