Exhibitions are Free & Open to the Public

Contrasts Exhibition will be on display Wednesday, October 23, 2019 - Friday, January, 3, 2020 at both Ruston Artisans Gallery, 203 W Alabama Ave. and Studio 301, 301 Trenton St. in beautiful, historic downtown Ruston, Louisiana.

The show will feature Kit Gilbert and Wendy Walker Silverman, and art from over 20 local artists, as well as art featured from a private collection - Marc Chagall - The Tribe of Zebulun and the Tribe of Dan signed artist proof/print at Ruston Artisans and Henri de Toulouse Lautrec - Sarah Bernhardt in 'Phedre' signed (mark) litho at Studio 301, Kit Gilbert's.

Artist Talk by Wendy Walker Silverman will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 5:00p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Ruston Artisans.

Contrasting Exhibition Receptions will be held at both Ruston Artisans and Studio 301 on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. O’duerves and refreshments will be served.

Ruston Artisans Reception is featuring Nashville musician/guitarist Jack Silverman. Jack is the husband of Wendy Silverman and has agreed to join her for this evening. He describes his style as atmospheric, cinematic compositions along with a great deal of improvisation. Jack is a Dead Head and tours with Nashville band Stolen Faces, The Left Hooks, and Lanturns.

Studio 301 Reception is featuring blues and jazz musician Bruce Gay. Bruce is a native of our area and has been playing locally and regionally for many years. He has performed with The Lightning Bugs, Dorothy Prime, Fiddlin' Tim Trio, and Mionne Destiny.

Ruston Artisans gallery is open Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Available for appointments during closed business hours. Studio 301 gallery will be available for appointments. Call 318-254-3322 to schedule appointments.
