David Howarth, Showman Pianist in Concert
The audience called, and we have answered! Back by popular demand, piano showman David Howarth will entertain patrons young and old at the Library Events Center on Tuesday, October 20th at 6:00 PM. This free event is sponsored by the Lincoln Parish Library and the North Louisiana Partnership for the Arts. You?ll want to be sure to join us for this rollicking entertainment! Originally from the UK and now based in Dallas Texas, David is one of the most versatile and exciting young pianists around today. Trained at the Royal Northern College of Music in England, he is sure to dazzle you with his uncompromising virtuosity on all 88 keys of the piano. He has performed for royalty and celebrities all over the world, including luminaries such as George Clooney, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Gwyneth Paltrow, and David Beckham. Music critics have described David as a ?Pianist of Distinction? and have commented on his ?impressive technique? and ?incredible composure and control?. His shows have received top ratings on all the major cruise lines in the world, including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Princess, NCL, Holland America, Silversea, Regent, Seabourn, Crystal, P&O and Cunard. David has also composed, produced, and arranged music for some of the world?s finest musicians and singers, and his unique style of music can be heard on radio stations all over the world. His composition, ?I Thank God,? was recently recorded by 8 year-old YouTube gospel-singing sensation Rhema Marvanne on her album Believe, which David also arranged and produced.
