Dubach School Agents for Change Community/Education Day
Preserving a great historic heritage is the major force behind a united effort to clean, preserve, repair, and add new life to the "Dogtrot Capital of the World" and its great local school. We hope to promote the following: community involvement, healthy living, lifelong learning, and environmental awareness. What you will see is trash and debris being picked up, weeds being removed, grass being cut, flower beds being built along our existing 'Welcome to Dubach' sign east of 167 and along our proposed new welcome sign west of 167. We hope to preserve and beautify an area with an approximate 3 mile radius from the Dubach School on Fellowship Road to areas along Highway 167 N and 167 S. At Dubach School there will be plenty of activities including music, food, a campus clean-up, mobile health care, recycling, and educational activities for the community. The Health Hut will be on our campus to provide 'healthcare in motion'. We will clean around our campus by picking up trash. We'll pull weeds, upgrade our current flower beds, and build new flower beds. We plan to begin work on our new outdoor classroom area with student wall art, decorate our vegetable garden beds, and build outdoor furniture. Students will join parents, grandparents, or alumni to paint stepping stones which will be used to enhance our outdoor area. Excitement is in the air in historic Dubach.
