European Get-away Information Meeting 2-3

Here’s your chance for that dream trip to Tuscany or Ireland – or both – that you’ve always wanted! The Chamber is offering “Discover Tuscany” on March 22-31, 2012, and “Shades of Ireland, Nov. 4-13, 2012. Two informational meetings with a representative of Collette Vacations, the company coordinating the trips, will be held Nov. 8 at the Chamber office, 2111 North Trenton St. The first meeting begins at 2 p.m., and the second at 6 p.m.
 
Highlights of the 10-day Tuscany trip include stops in Rome, Assisi, Siena, San Gimignano, Montecatina Terme, and Florence. The itinerary includes several optional side excursions, as well as plenty of free time. Cost of the Tuscany tour is $3,049, double; $3,349, single, and $3019, triple. 

The 10-day Shades of Ireland trip includes stops in Dublin, Kilkenny, Warterford, Limerick, Tullamore, and Kingscourt.Travelers will also visit the historic Blarney Castle where they can kiss the famous Blarney Stone. Optional  excursions include a Medieval banquet in a 15th century castle and Irish cooking lessons. This trip also includes plenty of free time. Book reservations by May 4, 2012 and save $150 per person at the following rates: $2,899, double; $3,349, single, and $2,869, triple.
