Contracting for Beginners

This is the first workshop in a government contracting series offered to our members by Northwest Louisiana Procurement Technical Assistance Center. This is a 4-part series of which you may attend one or all sessions. There is no fee to attend but you must register. Click here to register.

This first workshop will cover:
History of the NWLA PTAC, government procurement buying rules, and necessary registrations for System Award Management (SAM) and Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS). We will also go over set asides such as Women Owned Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Veteran Owned Business, HUBZone and 8(a). Rules, processes and procedures for SBA, Federal, State of Louisiana, Louisiana Dept. of Transportation, and local certification programs.
