Events in Railroad Park families can enjoy:
4:00 p.m.- Carved Pumpkin Contest and Trick or Treat in downtown Ruston
5:30 p.m.- Winners of Pumpkin Contest will be announced and will participate in a Pumpkin Glow
5:30 p.m.- Howl'oween Costume Contest and Dog Show begins at the Railroad Park stage
Trick or Treat with local downtown business and organizations along North Trenton, Mississippi Avenue, Alabama Avenue, Park Avenue and Railroad Park
Bring your carved pumpkins to Railroad Park by 4PM for a Carved Pumpkin Contest. Winners will be announced at 5:30 PM. Categories are for ages 6 to adult and winners will participate in a Pumpkin Glow at dark.
Let your creativity show and bring your favorite pooch for a chance to win The Howl'oween Costume Contest and Dog Show. Dazzle our judges with the scariest, funniest, most unusual, or best pet/parent combo costume. Judging begins at 5:30 PM.
Fun experiments sponsored by LA Tech's Physics and Science Departments and the Idea Place.
Be sure to look for the orange pumpkin poster in participating merchants' windows or pick up a walking map from City Hall.
**Please be sure that children are accompanied by an adult.**
**Please remember to keep your dogs on a leash at all times.**
