Introduction to Kayaking
This introduction to kayaking is a two-day course that includes one evening of classroom instruction that will cover basic safety, equipment, maneuvering, and paddling destinations/opportunities. Day two will be on-the-water paddling to a destination to be discussed/selected. Students may bring their own kayaks or rent one through a local outfitter. Details and supplies needed will be provided at Day 1 class. Date: June 5 & 7, 2014 (Thursday and Saturday) Time: 6:00pm-9:00 pm Instructor: Stephanie Antley Herrmann Fee: $50 **You must pre-register!
