#LaPeachFest Cobbler Gobbler Eating Competition
Last year at the 65th annual Louisiana Peach Festival a 2,251 pound peach cobbler was cooked in the middle of downtown Ruston. This cobbler not only broke a world record, it inspired The Hampton Inn Ruston to see who could eat enough cobbler to become Ruston's Cobbler Gobbler.
This year the tradition continues as Hampton Inn has thrown down the gauntlet, and is offering a $1,000 cash prize to the first eater to finish a "big ole glob of peach cob".
10 of the world's finest peach cobbler demolishers will step up to the challenge, but only 1 will earn the precious title of THE COBBLER GOBBLER. Oh and did we mention $1,000?! This competition is sure to be one for the ages!
No entry fee.. First one to finish wins... BYOIC -bring your own ice cream ;-)
