#LaPeachFest Square Dancing on Georgia Ave.
TRINITY TWIRLERS SQUARE DANCE CLUB will be performing at the Louisiana Peach Festival Saturday, June 25 at 10AM in the Georgia St. Food Court!
In the fall of 2011, a group of people passionate about continuing the tradition of Square Dance, formed the Trinity Twirlers Square Dance Club in Ruston, LA. Led by Kay Hamm, this group felt the importance of making the opportunity of Louisiana’s official state dance available to those in the Ruston area. Joey Duhamel, a resident of Star City, Arkansas, is the club caller and does a fabulous job teaching and providing a fun time for everyone.
Workshops are held every Friday evening from 6:30pm to 9:00pm with larger dances—Hoedowns—held quarterly. These Hoedowns often ...draw dancers from across the entire state. Check us out some of our fun dance pictures on Facebook.
