The year is 1895, and Sarah Bernhardt is the most brilliant actress to ever grace the Victorian stage - just ask her! The "Divine Sarah" is concerned that her once-bright star will fade as all attention shifts to a talented, younger rival. Sarah, on the other hand, believes that her future is as bright as ever after discovering a new script written by an up-and-coming playwright. That is, until a new girl arrives on the scene and obtains a copy of the script as well.
