National Weather Service Storm Spotter Training
The National Weather Service (NWS) and KNOE Channel 8 are teaming up to sponsor additional Storm Spotter Training in different parishes in the TV 8 viewing area. Lincoln Parish will be hosting the first of the series on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 6 pm at the Lincoln Parish Public Safety Complex, 161 Road Camp Road, Ruston, La. Other parishes hosting the event include Union Parish, November 3rd at 6 pm, Ouachita Parish, November 10th at 6 pm, Jackson Parish, November 17th at 2 pm and Caldwell Parish, November 17th at 6 pm.
