OWL Center: Christmas On The Farm

Save the date! Join us Saturday, December 7th, 2024, anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. All proceeds support the OWL Center's Equine Program, which provides horse-assisted therapies to children and adults in need. 

Family-friendly fun will include: 

• Pony rides
• Petting zoo 
• Maze
• Crafts & Games
• Bounce house
• Hayrides
• Pictures with Santa
• Rock Climbing Wall 
• Zipline

Entertainment, food, and auction prizes will be offered throughout the day. There will be a $20/car (CASH ONLY) entry fee. This covers everything except the ropes course and food. 

Parking is free, and shuttles will run from parking area to the Conference Center and throughout the OWL. 

The OWL Center is a non-profit, community-based program of Louisiana United Methodist Children and Family Services, and our programs and facilities are open to the public. We work with schools, churches, families, and individuals, providing opportunities to therapeutic recreation and personal and group development. Our therapeutic riding program serves children and adults with special needs, veterans, and at-risk youth. In 2023, we served over 1,000 clients, helping them reach physical, developmental, and behavioral goals while doing something we love. We could not do this without the financial support of individuals like you! Many of our riders come from families struggling financially and depend on scholarships. Events like Christmas on the Farm help offset program costs, allowing us to keep lesson prices as affordable as possible and provide financial assistance as needed.
