Ribbon Cutting for Goodwill Lunching Book Box
Goodwill Lunching (GWL) members have dedicated their time and resources to serving the children of our community by promoting literacy and improving access to books. During the pandemic, GWL developed an innovative way to get local kids access to books – Books in a Box. This project allowed GWL to meet a specific need in our community while ensuring every child had access to books. Celebrate the installation of GWL’s first box in front of Christian Community Action - with three more Books in a Box locations soon to be installed around Lincoln Parish Parks. This project was made possible thanks to the support of the Christian Community Action, RPAR and our dedicated members. Join us for a ribbon cutting to celebrate this installation on Tuesday, June 14th, at 2:00 PM, at 108 South Bonner Street, Ruston, LA, 71270.
