Rock the Railroad

Rock the Railroad is back for the fall! Bring the crew out to celebrate the first LA Tech home football weekend of the season Sept. 7 at Railroad Park in downtown Ruston! 

Enjoy live music from Judge & Jury, beer, wine, and a vodka peach lemonade will be available for purchase from Log Cabin Grill & Market & Ponchatoulas Restaurant, Tribe's food truck and Roma Italian Bistro serving eats on site, LA Tech spirit groups, late-night pep rally and more! 

Ruston Cultural District is the sponsor for the night and will be unveiling The Bulldog Project! Come out to get the first look at this highly anticipated community art project. There will be a ceremonial unveiling of the "Star Stuff" Bulldog housed at Railroad Park, and Bulldog Maps will be passed out to provide information on all 10 bulldog statues located around Ruston. You don't want to miss this landmark event in Ruston! 

Admission is free; must be 21 or older to drink. 

Rock the Railroad Schedule:
6 p.m. Event begins with food and drinks 
6:30 p.m. LA Tech spirit groups followed by Bulldog Project reveal
7 p.m. Judge & Jury on the Railroad Park stage
9 p.m. Late-night pep rally

Rock the Railroad happens every Friday night before LA Tech home football games in downtown Ruston for food, music, and fun for all ages! The celebrations continue with Loyal Blue Weekend activities like downtown shopping, free trolley to the stadium, tailgating in Bulldog Village, game-day festivities on Saturday, and Bulldog Brunch on Sunday.
