Run Ruston Run Community 5K

The Run Ruston Run 2014 will be held Saturday, September 20th at Louisiana Tech Farm beginning at 7:30 AM. There is a category for everyone and this is an event you do not want to miss!

Course: Louisiana Tech University Farm; medium terrain general sloping hills; see included course map. Directions: Turn onto Ben Grafton Road from Tech Farm Road, Ruston, Louisiana

Divisions: * 7:30 Open Community 5K * 8:30 5K College Men * 9:15 5K College Women * 10:00 5K Varsity Guys (8 runners max) * 10:45 5K Varsity Girls (8 runners max) * 11:30 2 mile JV Guys (12 runners max) * 12:00 2 mile JV Girls (12 runners max) * 12:30* 1.0 mile Jr High Guys (12 runners max) * 1:00** 1.0 mile Jr High Girls (12 runners max) * 1:30** 1.0 mile Elementary:5-6 Boys5-6 Girls3-4 Boys3-4 GirlsK-2 BoysK-2 Girls

**Jr High and elementary boys and girls races may be combined depending on number of entries**Jr High and Elementary race times are on a rolling schedule. Timing: Timing chips will be used for College, Varsity, and JV races. Times for all races, including junior high and elementary will be posted and sent to all schools.

Entry Fees: * Open Community 5K:Before Sept. 6 - $20 Sept. 7-19 - $25 Raceday - $30 * Collegiate:Events $50 each * Varsity, JV, & JH:1st 2 events $30 each. Additional events $10 each * Elementary:$40 per school (includes both boys & girls as well as all age groups) * Individual Student (non-attached):$15 individual entry

Additional Information: * Individual awards will be given to top ten finishers in each race category. * Team awards will be given for 3rd, 2nd, and 1st places * Concessions will be available * Parking $5 per vehicle
