Russ Town May Day Carnival

The Russ Town Society is an organization of young women devoted to the care and development of Ruston as a unique community. For the past 10 years we have coordinated a fundraiser, Downtown Delights, that allows us to contribute to worthwhile local causes in order to further the restoration and preservation of Ruston. We’ve decided to take a break from that this year and present a family fun event called May Day Carnival.

 

The proceeds from this year’s May Day Carnival will go to the North Louisiana Military Museum. Russ Town believes that the North Louisiana Military Museum is vital to Ruston’s historical and culturally legacy.  We are dedicated to providing much needed funding to the cornerstone of our community.

 

The Ladies of Russ Town invite the community to experience a traditional carnival full of your favorite games and treats on Saturday, May 5th from 11am-1pm.  Coupons for games will only be 25 cents and hotdogs, popcorn, and cotton candy will be on sale as well.  

 

The Russ Town Society prides itself on shedding light on Ruston’s progress while reminding us of its past. It is our hope that you will come and enjoy this year’s May Day Carnival.
