Eight galleries and art businesses will be participating in downtown Ruston's Spring Art Crawl, April 29, from 6 - 9 pm. The public can expect fine art, design, refreshments, friends and fun. All of the spaces are nestled conveniently in downtown Ruston for a walking crawl.
Participating locations and artists include:
Frame of Mind - mixed media paintings by Joey Slaughter; Gallery 203 – paintings and drawings by Emily Ezell, with an artist’s talk at 6:30; WAG Studio – works by the 12-member Women’s Art Group, including paintings, drawings, ceramics, and more; Fine Line Supply – fiber works, paintings and prints by Meredith Piper; Trenton Interiors – works by assorted local visual artists, including Emily Steed Pullin and Adrianna Speer who are new to the showroom; Vintage and Vogue – jewelry by Michele McGehee and men’s alligator accessories by Andrew McGehee; Main Street Exchange Occasional Shop – works by assorted local visual and literary artists; Cotton Top Print Shop – Shawn Hood Photography, Deanna’s Treasures jewelry, and The Wood Shop, by Tommy Hood.
Works will be available for sale, with many artists on site. All activities are free and open to the public. Art makes a great gift.
