Tech-Brarian, the Tech Device Experts
Do you have questions concerning the use of a tablet, e-reader or similar device? From 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, the "tech-brarians" of our reference department of the Lincoln Parish Library will be available to assist those with technological questions in the Lincoln Community Room. The technology of the modern day develops and upgrades at a much faster rate than that of only 10 years ago. This breakneck pace of innovation has created a digital divide, where the demands of today?s technology are not quite met by all who use them. Our tech-brarians believe anyone can cross that gap with the right help! By offering their knowledge and understanding of computers, tablets, e-readers, etc., the tech-brarians will help users learn how to complete their tasks with confidence. Bring your questions! Whether you need to know how to save information to the cloud or use OverDrive (our online digital library of audiobooks and e-books), the tech-brarians will be ready to help. As always, this service is free and open to the public with no prior registration needed. Come visit the library with your questions and devices! For more information, please contact Nicholas Davis at (318) 251-5030 or visit the library's web site at www.mylpl.org.
