Timelapse: 7th Louisiana Biennial National Juried Exhibition
Jan. 16 through Feb. 20, Louisiana Tech University will host Timelapse, the Seventh Louisiana Biennial National Juried Exhibition in the F. Jay Taylor Visual Arts Center Galleries. The galleries are open to visitors Monday-Friday from 9:00AM-4:00PM and admission is free. A Juror Talk with curator Laura Blereau will be held from 5-6 PM, Tuesday, Jan. 30, followed by an awards reception from 6-7 PM. Blereau is the Curator of Exhibitions at Newcomb Art Museum of Tulane University, New Orleans. This exhibition features artists from throughout the United States, including two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and video works. This is an excellent opportunity for students, faculty, and the public to see emerging contemporary work from around the country in a local gallery setting. Several regional artists are also represented in the show.
