YEA! (Young Entrepreneurs Academy) Investor Panel Event
YEA! Investor Panel Event
Thursday, March 17, 6-8 p.m.
Appetizers provided by Aramark GSU
Free & Open to the Public. Come show these young entrepreneurs that we support them!
Think Shark Tank meets The Apprentice meets American Idol! Students will have six minutes to pitch their business plans to prominent local members of the business community. Based on the appeal and merit of the students’ plans and presentations, representatives from local companies or individuals determine the amount of funds to allocate to each business or social movement.
"This week, I gave feedback to help prepare the YEA! students for their investor panel pitch," remarked Debbie Inman, Director of Center for Entrepreneurship and Information Technology at Louisiana Tech University LA Tech College of Business. "Generally, when I listen to entrepreneurs during their first pass at their pitch, there are always times when we must start over to build a different presentation. Not with this group! These young entrepreneurs successfully made their points to communicate their business model. They are devoted and passionate about their new ventures. I am looking forward to their investor panel presentations on March 17!"
