Executive Director

The Domestic Abuse Resistance Team (DART) is accepting applications for the position of Executive Director. This position provides financial oversight for the organization, supervision of administrative personnel, oversight of shelter and rural staff, and management of all grant application and compliance processes.

DART is a non-profit organization that provides help to domestic and dating violence victims and their children in North Central Louisiana. The parishes included are Jackson, Lincoln, Union, Winn, Claiborne, Bienville, and Grant. In addition, DART provides leadership in educating communities about domestic and dating violence and the resulting consequences. DART also creates and implements programs to prevent domestic and dating violence.

• The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
• Knowledge and experience of grant application and compliance processes
• Experience in managing a large financial budget using basic accounting skills
• Experience supervising administrative personnel as well as supervising remote personnel
• Passion for helping survivors of domestic violence as well as their children
