Jerrod Guillory, Comedian

The South Louisiana comedian that delivers the humor and laughter of the Creole culture as a strong punch, without the use of explicit language. With an energetic mixture of material based on his rich Creole heritage and his life as a father of 3 independent daughters, Jerrod weaves a cast of characters, trying adventures, and tales of small-town life with intensity, animation, and a myriad of truth. Jerrod will also be hosting a FREE workshop for kids and youth from 4:00 pm-5:30 pm as part of the Dixie Discoveries and Troupe Dixie initiative. Participants will learn about stand-up comedy, they will develop a 1-3 minute joke, and what it takes to deliver jokes and get guaranteed laughs! At the 7 pm performance, participants will have the choice to get on stage and open the show for Jerrod!
